We designed this website with a soft, earthy color palette to communicate the brand’s commitment to a natural, organic lifestyle. The site is built in Shopify – a robust e-commerce platform.
Ballard C. Boyd is an accomplished film director and has directed content for an array of well-known brands including Google, Wild Turkey, Mountain Dew, 3M, and DICK’s Sporting Goods. He is currently a digital producer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS, directing segments for both web & broadcast.
We worked with Ballard to develop a clean, bright look for the site that puts the spotlight on the colorful and high-quality projects in his portfolio.
Brooklyn Beyond is a partnership of eight historic sites throughout the borough that actively cherish and promote history. Their website is designed to encourage destination visitors interested in history and culture to explore and enjoy Brooklyn more deeply.
We photographed each of the eight partner institutions, built their responsive WordPress site, and crafted the Brooklyn Beyond branding.
Partner institutions include BLDG92, Brooklyn Historical Society, Green-Wood Cemetery, Lefferts Historic House, Old Stone House & Washington Park, New York Transit Museum, Weeksville Heritage Center, and the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum.
NutriPlex Foods makes nutritional supplements that include only the highest quality organic and wildcrafted ingredients. They are launching their unique line of whole food supplements in retail stores in 2016.
In addition to the site design and development for NutriPlex Foods, we also designed the entire line of retail product labels. We worked with NutriPlex to craft a colorful, clean aesthetic that will both differentiate their products on retail shelves and make it easier for customers to tell individual formulas apart at a glance.
Idealist’s mission is to connect people who want to do good with opportunities for action and collaboration. With more than 100,000 organizations and 1.4 million monthly visitors to their English, Spanish, and French sites, Idealist helps people move from intention to action all over the world.
Underscore designed their WordPress blog and migrated all of their past posts, as well as creating separate blogs for the French and Spanish language Idealist sites.
Liddabit Sweets is a Brooklyn-based small-batch candy company. One of the hottest startups coming out of New York’s burgeoning food scene, Liddabit has been featured in everything from Oprah Magazine to GQ.
We developed a sleek and stylish website for Liddabit in WordPress and an online store in Shopify. We’ve also assisted them with product photography and produced this behind the scenes video about their process.
TeachArchives.org is the result of a major US Dept. of Education grant at the Brooklyn Historical Society which brought undergraduate students into the archives to work directly with primary sources.
We collaborated with the project directors on a site that both showcases the results of their 3-year project and offers informational articles and exercises to other educators hoping to replicate their positive results. The project had a large volume of useful content to share, sparking us to develop creative organizational solutions and a custom site structure.
Additionally, we designed complementary materials including a trifold brochure and bookmark for use in promoting the site.
Radio Picture Show was called “one of LA’s best live storytelling shows” by Time Out Los Angeles. Each month, performers greet an eager crowd, sharing personal stories inspired by a song or an image.
We gave their site a bright, colorful, pop aesthetic — redefining the show’s brand and adding a fun tone to their site and email newsletter. To keep the site fresh, we coded the CSS to randomly change the color scheme whenever it loads.
Mavi Jeans is Turkey’s first global clothing brand with products sold in 4000+ specialty and department stores in over 50 countries.
We worked with their NYC flagship on nearly every aspect of their new US website design — laying out text and image placement, crafting the site’s look/feel, and designing feature functionality.
A primary goal of the project was to construct flexible page layouts that they could constantly update with fresh image, news, and product content. We also built modular templates in MailChimp for their wide-reaching email marketing campaigns.
